Paloma is one 20-year old who has made it her mission in life to prove no one and nothing can hold the person back who really wants to succeed. As a child she lost both her arms and legs to a merciless illness.

While losing all your limbs can result in a feeling of complete hopelessness, Paloma was determined to still do the thing that she loved doing - make-up. Not only did she teach herself the very complex skill, she also mastered it.

The Argentinian woman applies flaw-less makeup on herself using only her stumps and she also creates make-up tutorials for her 7 000 followers, who are undoubtedly inspired by her deep-rooted passion.

"Growing up, not having limbs affected me, but now I am lucky. I study, I exercise, I swim, I surf, I put on my make-up and I am making my tutorials, which generate a big network," Paloma said in a Ruptly article.

Briefly.co.za also reported about how Africans keep making the continent proud with their big achievements. Nweje MaryJane Ijeoma, a doctor, has been given a scholarship at the University of Oxford. She said that she was given the choice to choose from three fully-funded scholarships. That is really big.

The Nigerian woman later picked a Master's in International Health and Tropical Medicine. Doctor Nweje added that she is really excited about what this year will bring.

"I’ve been sitting on this for a while and I’m ready to share.I was accepted into the @UniofOxford with 3 fully-funded scholarships to choose from. My chosen course is MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine @OxIHTM and I can’t wait for what this year has to offer, she excitedly tweeted.

Many who responded to her tweet rejoiced with her as they congratulated the lady on the new feat. Some in the comment section said they hope they get the same glory one day.
