- A terrifying video has been shared online showing a man attempting a kidnapping in broad daylight

- The video quickly went viral and South Africans had a lot to say about it
So many times people stand and watch as a crime takes place in South Africa because they are too afraid of getting hurt themselves.
While self-preservation is not necessarily a bad thing, it does show that people tend to put the worth of their own lives above others'.
However, there are many individuals who could be dubbed heroes because of their selfless bravery. On Friday, a shocking video was shared online showing a thug attempting to kidnap a girl in broad daylight while she was dining with her mom.
Luckily, a quick-thinking member of society saw what was happening and he reacted immediately, tackling the would-be kidnapper to the ground.
According to Yusuf Abramjee, the incident took place at Bella Napoli, Goldman Crossing, Florida, West Rand.
The man's heroic actions led to the arrest of the criminal.
Take a look at the video below:
South Africans were in awe of the brave man and they applauded him for stopping the kidnapping.
Twitter user, @Charlie_mavhaga, commented:
"That guy who was choking him looks like an MMA fighter, that choke hold looks professional... What a hero!"
Another tweep, @anzile_, added:
"Wow, quick and swift response from the guy wearing a black T-shirt... we need more people like him!"

Briefly.co.za reported previously on another viral video. The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) are not letting up on their protests against Clicks. The Red Berets have made sure all the pharmaceutical giant's stores closes following a racially insensitive advertisement that labelled Afro hair as 'dry and damaged'.
In a recent video, members of the EFF can be heard threatening to burn down an entire hospital because the Clicks pharmacy inside had not closed its doors.
South Africans were not happy over the footage and many questioned how the EFF could threaten to torch a medical facility where people are fighting for their lives.
