Thandeka Mdeliswa’s passing has Mzansi shook. Reports have recently stated that an arrest has been made and justice will be served for the death of the 35-year-old actress.
Thandeka came to the limelight when she played the role of Khanya on SABC 1's drama series entitled iKani. New that Thandeka’s cause of death was a brutal gunshot. The incident happened at her family's home in Evander, Mpumalanga, on Thursday, 3rd September 2020.

The family confirmed her death and the police have been investigating. Police spokesperson Brigadier Leonard Hlathi said that two men came to the home and had an argument with Thandeka's brother. She went to talk to the two men and the argument escalated and one of the men grabbed his friends gun and shot her.
Eyewitness News reported that there has been an arrest made of three men in connection to Thandeka's murder. It is alleged that one of the three men that were arrested was her colleague. The suspects have been faced with charges of murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The police's Leonard Hlathi:
"Police have arrested one man in Gauteng, who is believed to have pulled the trigger. Other investigations led us to two other men who handled the firearm. Police have charged them with unlawful possession of a firearm as well as ammunition. The provincial police commissioner Lieutenant-General Mondli Zuma is elated over the Ekurhuleni Metro Police that assisted the police during the arrest as well as escorting the suspects back to Mpumalanga."

The brutal murder of the 28-year-old had caused immense pain in Mzansi after the expectant mother was found stabbed and hanged in a veld.
News24 reports that police spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza had confirmed that the suspect was caught on Monday returning to the province from Mpumalanga.
