"My parents been married for 36 years, they watch Animal Planet all day together and have the wildest conversations, lol! I’ll never lose faith in love... Even though most people are incapable of that kinda love."
"My parents have been together for 22 years I believe. I'm 19. I've seen them fight and argue, seen them laugh and tease each other, they watch movies together all day long sometimes, gossip with each other, they actually roast us (the kids) together too lol. They definitely are crazy."
In other amazing relationship news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on a 54-year-old woman who's never been married but got engaged to her friend of 10 years. She announced on Facebook that after being unmarried all her life, she finally found someone she wanted to grow old with.
The best part was, her husband-to-be had been her friend for slightly over a decade but the two never tried to take their relationship to the next level. According to the single mum, her fiancé Marcellus was always the guy who wiped away her tears and gave her a shoulder to cry on whenever things went south.
The two grew together in their friendship and bonded over the years as they went through different seasons of life. The motivational speaker said she always feared being tied to one man and pushed away the idea of settling down with one man. But life is full of surprises.
