AKA has taken to social media to share that he has accepted that he might not collaborate with fellow Mzansi rapper A-Reece. A fan suggested on Twitter that AKA and A-Reece needed to work together on a project.
The Fela In Versace rapper had previously stated that he would love to feature Reece on his upcoming album but his response to the tweep suggests that the collab has not happened yet.
"I get the impression that Reece does whatever the f*ck he wants, when he wants to ... I can respect that. Sounds like someone I know."
Reece and AKA are expected to drop their new albums before the end of this year. When Cassper Nyovest dropped on Friday, Reece trended even though he had nothing to do with AMN. His fans urged him to drop Paradise 2 now that almost every big rapper in Mzansi has released an album.
AKA also shared his thoughts on Mufasa's new offering. Supa Mega's fans have also reacted to his views on A-Reece. Check out some of their comments below:
"Reece knows the industry is full of plastics... so he's being real to himself and protecting his turf."
"He's too overrated though. He is a good artist, but way overrated."
"@reece_youngking is not on your level sir, he's on an international level already, try @casspernyovest, he's also on this local vibe y'all would make a great collaboration."
"Reece is a different animal, he knows that he is special, eventually he will be on top of the tree even without a big machine backing him."
