A woman from the UK is ecstatic about receiving her citizenship for the Republic of South Africa. Juliet Houghton shared images of her documentation from the Department of Home Affairs to Facebook group, #ImStaying. She captioned the post:
"So finally having followed this group for months and living in this beautiful country for 13 years... I can finally say 'Yes I'm staying too!' Happy Heritage month all."
The post was met with an influx of comments from South African Facebook users as they welcomed her to the country. Others congratulated her and wished her well on her future as SA resident.
