Moja Love's Uyajola 9/9 is in the spotlight for allegedly paying peeps to elevate their drama. A mistress from the show, Nontuthuko Gumede, has come forward to tell her story.
While we all know that reality TV is scripted to some degree, totally faking incidences is totally out of line – might as well be a fictional drama series then.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Nontuthuko came forward to announced that Uyajola 9/9 paid her R1000 to pretend to be a man’s mistress in the show. It was apparently all just a front.
Speaking to Isolezwe, Nontuthuko decided to spill the tea as her family have turned on her since the show. Even though she was paid to play the role and was not actually involved with the committed man, her family do not believe her and so she wants the truth to be told.
Nontuthuko says she was approached by the producers to play the role and that she was told exactly what to say and do. Nontuthuko is realizing now that it was not worth the R1000 she was paid.
After the episode aired in August, Nontuthuko’s face was all over social media. Fans started calling her Blondie and Nontuthuko ‘s identity was now public. Her family is disgusted by the entire thing.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Mzansi has reacted to the latest episode of hit reality TV show Uyajola 9/9. The show's Sunday night episode was lit, as expected. Jub Jub, the presenter of the show, and his crew helped a man bust his cheating girlfriend during the last episode.
Sibusiso suspected his bae of cheating on him. The suspicion was confirmed when he caught her red-handed in bed with another man. Sibusiso walked into their house and caught her in the act. She thought that he was at work.
When Jub Jub, Sibusiso and the crew walked in on them, she claimed that the man was a colleague who had given her a lift home from work.
