President Cyril Ramaphosa has endorsed the #JerusalemaChallenge. Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode's song Jerusalema has kept many countries across the world dancing amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Ramaphosa thinks it's now the right time for Mzansi to show the world how the real Jerusalema dance is done.
Ramaphosa has called on the citizens of this country to participate in the #JerusalemaChallenge on Heritage Day, 24 September. On this day, Mzansi peeps celebrate their culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions. While addressing the nation on Wednesday night, 16 September Ramaphosa said:
"And there can be no better way to celebrate of our South African-ness than joining the global phenomenon that is spreading across the world and that is the Jerusalema dance challenge. The Jerusalema song that I love so much, so I urge all of you to take up this challenge on Heritage Day and show the world what we are capable of."
Master KG responded to Ramaphosa's call with five praying hand emojis.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Cassper Nyovest took to social media to share his views on Jerusalema. The rapper believes that the internationally-recognised song will hit a billion views on YouTube.
The Amademoni hitmaker, who is one of the most successful artists in Mzansi, expressed that he is inspired by the success of the single by his country's musicians. It is refreshing to see Cass giving credit where it is due. The song currently has just over 139 million views on the video-sharing app.

Cassper's fans took to his comment section to share mixed reactions to his post. Some believe that the track can actually hit a billion views because of the support it keeps receiving from international stars.
