South African media personality, Lerato Kganyago, ain’t phased about social media. Sis knows that her worth lies in a lot more than likes on social media platforms.
Social media has made a lot of people feel anxious. Some have gone into depression just because they did not get any or enough likes on a post, and that is no way to live.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Lerato took to social media recently to remind peeps that likes and shares on social media do not define you. We are worth so much more than superficial things like this and everyone needs to know that.
Lerato is built an empire on her own and the last thing she feels that she needs to worry about it social media. While Lerato has over a million followers, sis does not get that much of a response when posting as she isn’t the most active on social media.
Expressing her concerns on the terrifying rate of women and children human trafficking, Lerato did not get the response you would expect with the number of followers she has.
One nasty tweep decided to laugh at the response or lack thereof that Lerato received, and she put them in place. Lerato made it clear that she does not share posts like this to get a response and that it doesn’t affect her life as she doesn’t make money off of social media. Ishu!
“Hahahahaha true!! Good thing I don’t make money from likes, retweets, or trends on Twitter!”
Briefly.co.za previously reported that fans were shocked to learn of Lerato Kganyago's marriage coming to an end. Mzansi has been divided on the topic. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the Metro FM presenter announced that her very new marriage of two months is over.
Lerato did not go into too many details with regards to the split. She did, however, say that their different priorities and workloads led to them not being able to invest in their relationship.
Her supporters have come out on social media to defend her against trolls bashing her online and have coined a new hashtag: #handoffleratokganyago.
