AKA seems to be playing hardball with Cassper Nyovest again! Claiming that he was waiting for Cass to drop his album first, Supa Mega is fired up now and ready to make a drop he feels will shake the whole of Mzansi.
When you have competition in the music industry, those people are not often your friends. AKA and Cassper’s beef goes way back and it has become evident that there will never be a resolution either.
Briefly.co.za saw how AKA took to social media to issue a subtle yet stern warning to Cassper. It seems like the album drop challenge is on and may the best artist win.
Cassper dropped his new album Any Minute Now back on 11 September and the people cannot get enough of it. Cass really produced an album of great quality that has few to no faults.
Taking to social media, AKA made it clear that he is ready to drop his new album, which he believes will smash Cassper’s. While AKA is a lit artist, it's going to take something hella special to top the dope album Cassper just dropped.
AKA did not say Cassper’s name in the post, but it was plain to see exactly who the post was directed at. This drop is going to be interesting.
“Your project has dropped ... you took your sweet time. Now let me get my project out as well. I waited and waited and waited. Now I need to deliver what I promised the Megacy. Simple and plain.”
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Cassper Nyovest dropped his album and his arch-rival, AKA, was noticeably quiet at the time of the drop. Social media users have been waiting for him to finally say something and it seems the wait was not in vain.
After being tagged in a tweet talking about the AMN album, AKA shared his thoughts about it. A Cassper fan said that the rapper was able to make an amazing album without mentioning AKA. He then tagged AKA in the tweet.
"Yet here you are mentioning me."
