- Mzansi's favourite power couple Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung took a mini-break to the bushveld
- Somizi posted video tour of his and Mohale's super-glam accommodation "in the middle of nowhere"
- The tented camp was a perfect fit for the two celebs and their short getaway
Somizi and Mohale took a mini-vacation as they went glamping at a game reserve.
The celebrity posted video of the the trip he's taking with his husband to his Instagram profile and stories.
Somizi captioned the video he posted "ematendeni" before showing footage of the tent structures and how their holiday is truly "in the middle of nowhere".
Somizi posted a video Monday morning that had fans abuzz about where he and Mohale were headed to and for how long, but most comments were well-wishers telling the couple to enjoy themselves:
@wendynontso: " I love you SomG. You work so so hard and you play harder, go my lovies and enjoy yourselves."
Somizi's next post was a video that revealed the couple's little tented chalet and how alone in the bushveld they truly were. The TV presenter is no stranger to luxury but even he had to admit that the tent was officially "glamping, glamping, glamping". The video tour showed a tent that was far from normal camping as it came complete with a fridge, bath tub and outdoor shower.
The couple have since posted video showing that they've enjoyed a game drive with some fantastic animal sightings and the cooler-box they packed for the trip. The most Somizi-level moment of the holiday has to have been when he posted footage of himself in his bed and talked about how nice the sheets were. As always, Somizi shows his appreciation for the finer things.
Briefly.co.za reported on Somizi showcasing two things he loves - fashion and supporting young designers. Somizi knows first-hand how difficult it is to be successful in a tough industry and so he vowed to help aspiring South African fashion designers get their names out in public. He announced on social media that hopefuls could submit sketches and he would wear their designs.
The first ten (of hundreds) that were chosen designed a larger-than-life yellow gown which Somizi wore as well as posted to his Instagram following of more than three million. Somizi's fame could only have pushed these designers to achieve more, and his personal style is so fabulous that it could only have inspired them.
