- Mzansi rappers Cassper Nyovest and AKA are at each other's throats once again
- This comes after AKA denied that the highly-anticipated boxing match would be happening this year
- AKA accused Cassper Nyovest of using the match to promote his album, something Cass has vehemently denied
Cassper and AKA are having a go at each other on social media again. The pair have been embroiled in rap beef since forever. They had eventually decided to settle it in a boxing ring, but now the pair are fighting about the actual fight.
AKA took to social media to share that Cassper was only tweeting about the boxing match because he wanted to promote his album. He then went on to say that there would be no fight happening this year.
Supa Mega posted:
“If people are really this eager it would have happened by now. Still no signed contract. Nothing. JUST TALK. Come on. F**k outta here. The fight is happening in 2020 but training is starting today? Come on. Let’s get serious here."
He went on to say that no contracts had been signed.
“There is no such thing and the date is September 21st. Use your heads. There is not even a sponsor or a venue confirmed. Seriously."
AKA posted the contract that Cassper is still to sign to prove that he was not chickening out of the fight.
Social media users responded to AKA's revelation. Twitter user wise30152072 said:
"That guy is busy making noise kganti he is still scared to sign"
"You know he reminds me of an uncle who would hide when foes were looking for him and then start talking smart after they have left the hood..."
"You not the one to talk about contracts cause the last time contract was involved, you were ripped off by Reebok."
Cassper was not one to stand by and be called a clout chaser. He responded to the Fela in Versace hitmaker and told him that he was ready to get the ball rolling.
"Let's get the paperwork done and get a date. I'm very eager tough guy!!! Tlee will be in contact with your people tomorrow!!! Let's get it done!!!"
Briefly.co.za previously reported that AKA seems to be playing hardball with Cassper Nyovest again!
When you have competition in the music industry, those people are not often your friends. AKA and Cassper’s beef goes way back and it has become evident that there will never be a resolution either.
AKA did not say Cassper’s name in the post, but it was plain to see exactly who the post was directed at. This drop is going to be interesting.
“Your project has dropped ... you took your sweet time. Now let me get my project out as well. I waited and waited and waited. Now I need to deliver what I promised the Megacy. Simple and plain.”
