- Zamar advised her haters to focus on their own growth because "hate only kills you"
- Social media users ignored her advice and continued with the hate by sharing negative comments on Lady Zamar's timeline
Lady Zamar recently decided to speak out about the hate against her. The musician took to social media to address her naysayers but her decision backfired on her. She was dragged for not practicing what she was trying to preach with her post.
The singer has endured a lot of hate on social media from fans of fellow Mzansi musician and ex-boyfriend Sjava. Lady Zamar has accused Sjava of sexually abusing her. There is currently an ongoing court case regarding the disturbing allegations. The two had been dating since 2017.
The songstress took to Twitter on Monday, 21 September to speak out against all the hate against her since the whole drama with her and Sjava began. Zamar wrote:
"Hate kills only YOU... You waste so much time plotting and planning someone’s demise only for it to be your own grave you’re digging. Focus on your own growth and your own journey."
Most tweeps reacted negatively to her advice. Check out some of their comments below:
"Exactly what you did to Sjava, hell is waiting for you."
"Well said and what happened to you and Sjava? We shall wait for the courts to decide. She says he says ain't working at the moment. The ugly part is wena your career is on while his is off. That's what I call unfair justice. All innocent at the moment."
"We're not hating dali, we just want you to speak nothing but the truth regarding the allegations."
"This would have sounded better had you said it way before you tried to destroy Sjava."
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that the SABC has spoken out against claims that they axed Sjava, real name Jabulani Hadebe, from the popular SABC1 soapie Uzalo. The singer and actor was reported to have joined the stellar cast of the show but claims were later made that he was fired.
Reports alleged that Sjava's contract was terminated due to Lady Zamar's ongoing court case against him. TshisaLive has reported that acting SABC spokesperson Mmoni Seapolelo has refuted the claims that the musician was fired.
According to Seapolelo, Sjava's contract was for a limited time frame. Sjava has lost gigs and endorsements and while he has not been found guilty as such, the claims have been made and are ruining his life.
