Mzanis's beloved Ndlovu Youth Choir tried their hand at the #JerusalemaChallenge but they put a twist on the globally celebrated song. Let’s just say that the reaction from the people of Mzansi was not what they were expecting.

Master KG’s track has done its rounds around the globe and has brought a lot of joy to so many people. The track has put Mzansi on the map and made our country undeniably proud.

The Ndlovu Youth Choir, like Master KG, have also made Mzansi proud on many occasions. With Heritage Day approaching, they decided to pay homage to Master KG’s track with a little twist.

Taking to social media to post their rendition, The Ndlovu Youth Choir were proud of what they had done and meant no disrespect. They were never anticipating the reactions they received.

“#JerusalemaDanceChallenge Ndlovu style. Big love and respect to @MasterKGsa for bringing the world together.”

While the Ndlovu Youth Choirs rendition was breath-taking, the people of Mzansi felt some type of way about them messing with the original version. Social media flooded with mixed emotions and the people were truly unsettled by the remix.

Some even went as far as calling it a scam: “Lmao. Ndlovu Youth Choir wants to scam us now? Ha ah, ma comrade.”

Despite the mixed reactions, there were those who absolutely loved it.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that the Ndlovu Youth Choir - who shot to fame after they appeared on America's Got Talent - has released a new song. The new tune educates South Africans on the coronavirus and busts myths instilling fear in people's hearts.

The video was shared on their Twitter page and captioned:

"There are already many dangerous myths and misunderstandings about the Coronavirus/Covid-19. We would like to assist by sharing a short video where we explain some basic guidelines."
