South African navy takes on the Jerusalema Challenge and nails it

The Jerusalema Dance Challenge has become something of a national past time in recent days, and with President Cyril Ramaphosa telling SA to perform the dance has taken it to another level.

The South African navy must have thought that it was an order from the commander-in-chief and took it upon themselves to perform the dance.

Jimmy Dekock posted the video in the Facebook group #ImStaying and it has been very well received, with people giving the navy a big thumbs up.

Earlier, reported that after President Cyril Ramaphosa called on South Africans to unite and do the Jerusalema Challenge, the internet was flooded with videos of the viral dance.

One group of people was busy filming their challenge when things went sideways. Midway through the dance, an uninvited four-legged guest makes an appearance and sends the dancers running. The dog doesn't appear aggressive but the citizens were not taking any chances. The hilarious incident was caught on video and posted online.

Thenjiwe Khumalo, who goes by the Twitter handle @10GEE_Khumi, shared the video on Twitter and simply captioned it:

"Hayibo lenja! #JerusalemaDanceChallenge."

In other news, a clip of prison inmates participating in the Jerusalema Challenge has prompted some debate in Mzansi.

The video was shared by the Presidency as part of Cyril Ramaphosa's effort to spread some unity on Heritage Day.

The clip revealed inmates, clad in their orange uniforms, giving Master KG's hit sensation their best shot.
