Thando also posted a press release from Netflix that gave up a whole lot of details about the new series. It will be taking place over three episodes and showcase some typical South African humour as well as give insight into how Christmas and weddings happen over here.
The release also stipulated that the production filmed while Covid-19 was a looming concern. Rethabile Ramaphakela, who is credited as an executive producer on the project, was quoted as saying:
"Shooting during a global pandemic was very different to what we're used to. How to Ruin Christmas: The Wedding is a very Covid-conscious production"
Ramaphakela also maintained that the safety of the cast and crew remained "paramount" throughout the filming process.
In other Thando-related news, Briefly.co.za reported on the star's intimate lockdown celebration of her 30th birthday.
Thando posted pics of the little get-together in which she donned a red dress paired with red lipstick. She looked utterly gorgeous as she toasted her birthday and emphasised how far she had come and how much she had achieved by posting a pic of herself as a baby.
Despite not being able to celebrate with as many of her family and friends as she would have liked, the celeb expressed gratitude for all the messages she had received on her special day.
