Master KG recently took to social media to air his frustration after his phones got lost while he was using a popular e-hailing cab service.
The world-renowned musician posted that he forgot his phones, an S20 Ultra and iPhone, in the cab but was not able to get them back.
Master said that after realising that his phones were missing, he called the cab driver but his phone was off. A few hours later, the driver eventually responded and denied being aware of the whereabouts of the phones.
The muso tweeted:
"I forgot my two phones inside @Boltapp_za and the guy dropped me off. And immediately when I realised my phones are not with me I tried calling the guy's phone and it was off. 5 hours later it was on, he says he did private trips they might have taken my phones. Mxm eish phone tsaka."
He went on to say:
"And the guy says he switched his phone off immediately after dropping me because he was tired, mxm eish."
Askies Master. These things are unfortunate, but they happen. Twitter users were less forgiving and shared their thoughts.
Twitter user MadumanaOneTree said:
"Never use Bolt, they don't prioritise security. Rather use Uber, it's way better."
"I really don't understand why people keep using Bolt. That is the crappiest most unprofessional and most of all most the un-safest service you can ever use in SA, all for a R15 difference in payment. Yho hay ninezinto nani. But carry on."
"Go buy a new phone wena, you have millions of bucks in your credit card. You will do sim swap, don't worry about the vid and pics you lost, if they upload them in Twitter we will delete them."
"Start using @Uber_RSA, you are bigger than Bolt, Uber was going to make sure you get your phones."
"You have a Ferrari, stop using Bolt, wanitwa mus?"
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Master KG has dropped a major hint about his upcoming project. Hot off the global success of Jerusalema, the music producer has been approached by a big star for a collaboration.
Although Master did not reveal who the star was, his announcement left social media users feeling excited.
Who could it be? Janet Jackson? Drake? Or is it someone even bigger? We can't wait to find out.
