Shaka Zulu is a 1986 South African television series that was directed by William C Faure and written by Joshua Sinclair for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). The series consists of 10 episodes of approximately 50 minutes each in duration. It is based on the story of the king of the Zulus, Shaka.
Gigi's fans shared mixed reactions to her post. Check out some of their comments below:
"What about the family's of the behind the scenes crew? The supporting actors? Surely Shaka's family shouldn't be the only family benefiting."
"They may not get even cent depending on who owns the production and the contracts T&Cs for the actors way back then. You are in the entertainment industry and should know better, not so?"
"There's a new law being drafted in South Africa called the Copyright Amendment Bill. If that is passed, his family will be entitled to a fair share of the royalties!"
"Apparently it's not even the correct version of our Shaka."
