Up-and-coming rapper Tag-Team The Ghost has a dropped a new single titled Chisa. The single, released just in time for the festive season, is taken from his upcoming EP.
On the new track, Tag-Team The Ghost - real name Tshegofatso 'Tshego' Boshielo, raps about building wealth, being a leader in your own right and exploring the world through travel while illustrating his intentions with the utmost clarity.
"As someone who wants to travel through music, I thought it would good to mention a few places where I would love to perform one day. I believe I was born to be a leader, so I wanted to convey how much of an influence I would like to have on the industry."
The fusion hip-hop musician plays both guitar and bass guitar, with experience playing in ensembles and bands. Tag-Team received mentorship from Erik Paliani, former music director, guitarist and producer for Hugh Masekela. He was also a band member of 5th Element.
Before dropping Chisa, Tag-Team released Drip earlier this year. He has also previously dropped a mixtape titled The Backroom Mixtape.
In other music news, Briefly.co.za reported that AKA took to social media to announce that his upcoming project is ready for release. Supa Mega shared that Bhovamania has been mixed and mastered. He shared that he only thing that's left now is just a release date.
The Fela In Versace hitmaker has been using social media to let his fans in on the latest developments in relation to the album. AKA is expected to drop the highly-anticipated EP just in time for the festive season.
His fans have been urging him to drop the project soon because his arch-rival Cassper Nyovest has already dropped an album. Mufasa dropped Any Minute Now on 11 September. AKA tweeted on Monday, 28 September:
"The project is complete. Mixed. Mastered. Everything. All that I need now is our release date."
