While some celebrities were complaining about getting no gigs, others such as ProVerb were using the lockdown to be productive. The Idols SA presenter has penned his memoirs, which tell the story of his professional and personal life.

The Book of ProVerb is named after his debut album. According to the rapper, the memoirs will pay tribute to all those who helped him become who he is today.

The rapper wasn't shy to talk about some of the skeletons that are buried deep in his closet, including the painful divorce he endured a few years ago.

Taking to Twitter, ProVerb posted a picture of the book along with the caption:

"My truth, my fears, my flaws, my dreams, my highs, my lows, my story."

Twitter users were excited about the release and some pushed for the veteran rapper to drop an album as it's been a while since his last project. Twitter user MarvinKRS_ZA said:

"After this we need a new album. Even if it's a 10-track album, just flourish with it."

Briefly.co.za previously reported that ProVerb is one of those media personalities who stays on the down-low. The humble rapper is not known to flaunt his wealth, although it's clear that he's loaded. He took to social media recently to show off his luxury car collection.

The Idols SA host posted a pic of two beautiful red Porsche vehicles. The snap also showed off a glimpse of what looked like the parking area of a beautiful house.

His followers were clearly impressed by the classy cars and flooded his mentions with compliments. Insta user makadimakatso said: "Nice cars man!"
