Khanyi Mbau took off in a Twitter tirade against commenters who exclaimed that "in SA the same people get all the deals" after she announced a new partnership with Castle Lite and Bathu shoes.

The celeb responded to the claims by saying that those people just fast, pray and hustle. The Twitterverse, however, was not satisfied with her take.

The vitriol is just the latest online discussion in the 'open the industry' campaign which has seen tweeps and followers hurling accusations at SA celebs for using their connections and always giving lucrative deals to the same people.

Khanyi continued replying to tweeps, claiming that she puts things out into the universe and that people must deal with their own power.

Another tweet asked what the point of getting qualifications was if the industry was simply going to reward the same select few.

Many jumped on this bandwagon and gave examples, with a popular one being parents sending their kids to get qualifications just for famous people with none to end up getting the job.

The debate also came hot on the heels of the announcement of Mohale's casting as a character in . Tweeps were already fired up because of many believing Mohale only having gotten the part due to his connections in the industry.

Khanyi ended the whole exchange with one last tweet:

"Guys.. gotta go! BUT I SAID WHAT I SAID!! MANIFESTATION IS THE KEY TO THE SECRET TO YOUR DESTINY! wWe are all here for a reason! FIND IT AND WIN! Cheers!"
