When he isn't sharing pictures of his questionable cuisine, he is sharing old pictures of himself. Today sees South Africa's Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni taking to Twitter to share a throwback picture of himself surrounded by his varsity mates years ago during his university days.
In the Twitter post a very young Tito, who looks to be in his early twenties, can be seen standing amongst a large group of other university students of various racial backgrounds who seem to have not a single care in the world.
Titi, who had probably been reminiscing back to the good old days, also used the Twitter post as an opportunity to ask his fans and followers to help him find the people who are with him in the very old picture.
Meanwhile, his followers shared their thoughts about the picture in the comments section. Read some of the comments below.
"Uncle Tito, you still look the same in a younger version though."
"I assume you want to cook pilchard for them nhe?"
While @uMthembukazi shared this stellar advice with the minister:
"Governor, perhaps if you could name some of them it would help, so that their young relatives/ kids, who are most probably on twitter can alert them that you want to hook up. Most people around this age are not on Twitter, your message might just not reach them."
In other Briefly.co.za throwback news, Anga Makubalo, more popularly known as NaakMusiQ, recently took to social media to share a throwback photo from his days working on the set of Generations.
The picture included much-loved characters like Sibusiso Dhlomo, Mam' Ruby and even US actor Samuel L Jackson. The media personality couldn't resist adding a little spice to his post by mentioning how the entire cast was once fired from the production by Mfundi Vundla.
Anga shared a post with his old cast members and captioned it: "6 years ago." It seems the actor remembered that the crew was fired six years and went back to fix his post by sarcastically saying: "Actually guys, it may be longer. Six years ago was when we all got sacked (yayiyi filiim). This image was taken before..."
