Dance challenges are the be-all and end-all for most South Africans as dancing is a big part of our culture as a nation. Most recently Saffas have been participating in the #JerusalemaChallenge to the global hit - Jerusalema.
Now the country has been hit by another dance challenge - the disgusting face dance. This dance is typically done to songs from the AmaPiano genre. It entails weird facial expressions and slight head movement.
Some people do use their body's to go along with the facial expressions, but generally it is just the odd facial expressions paired with a little bit of head movement. Videos of the challenge are all over social media already.
One video of a young lady participating in the dance was uploaded to Facebook page SA House Music Downloads and has gained over 50 000 views and over 1 000 reactions. The dance seems as though anyone can do it as it solely involves the usage of facial muscles. Click here to watch the video.
In other dance news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on a local pair's lit dance moves. A short video clip of an unknown Saffa pair dancing has been making its rounds on social media. In the clip, the two can be seen doing all sorts of lit dance moves while breaking it down to a local song.
One of the dancers who can be seen all dressed up in his khaki safari outfit really got the attention of tweeps after he can be seen acing every single move all while wearing his super short shorts and high socks.
Twitter users could not contain their feelings about the dancers even offering to let him "keep the land". They also shared all sorts of other hilarious comments in the comment section.
