Sometimes no matter how much we want something, it's just not meant to be. This incredibly hilarious video clip of a woman trying to shoot her shot with a young man and unfortunately failing dismally proves this to be true.
In the clip that has been making its rounds on social media, both the guy and the woman, as well as two other passengers, can be seen enjoying some popular music and a nice drive. Suddenly the woman leans forward signalling that she would like a kiss.
Unfortunately, the man completely ignores her advances, leaving her looking sad and rejected, much to the amusement of the passengers in the backseat who are laughing their butts off at the entire thing.
Meanwhile, tweeps also shared their views about the exchange in the comments section.
"These 2 aren’t on the same page... ma’am tried tried to come out of the shadows and mans wasn’t having it."
"But this lady naye, why nje spoil the fun wanting to be kissed by someone who should be focusing on the road? Niyathanda ukukhala kodwa."
"You can see her soul leaving her body."
"It's her facial expression for me."
Meanwhile in a more successful Briefly.co.za love story, taking a chance at love will forever be a great decision. Sometimes shooting that shot proves to be worth it at the end. A young woman recently proved this to be true after she shared how her man slid into her DM and now into her heart.
In her Twitter post, @kaylenciaga shared a screenshot of the messages her boyfriend had sent her before he became her boyfriend. In the messages, he is clearly shooting his shot by complimenting her on her "content".
Right next to the DM screenshot is a picture of the young couple now, looking happier than ever. @kaylenciaga hilariously captioned the post, "How it started vs how it ended up." The heartwarming post surely gave other social media singles some hope.
