A Pretoria, Hammanskraal man recently took to Twitter to share a short video of the incredible hand made train he designed and built. @HendrickWorks shared on the platform how he had built it during the lockdown.
"This is my handmade train which I built myself during the lockdown period here in Pretoria Hammanskraal South," he wrote.
The video shows a fully functional and moving train complete with passengers who seem overly excited to be travelling inside the man's innovative creation, which is designed and completed immaculately.
Impressed Twitter users quickly flooded to the comments section to congratulate the man on completing such a big and impressive feat. Many of them gave him some useful advice about patenting his idea. Read some of their comments below.
"Register this idea, register under tourism, patent it, do everything to protect it."
"My brother, get a good patent attorney. This is brilliant. DM me for advice."
"A bit of "fine tuning" and you may just have the answer to very good travelling between villages and small towns. Keep working on it. Make SA proud."
"This is amazing. Your hands are blessed sir."
"Congrats chief, this is awesome and can help a lot of kids get to school safely and quicker. Can also work as transportation to hospitals and clinics, better than those mehlolo the government paid for during lockdown. Start a fundraiser on GoFundMe so we donate to build more."
Briefly.co.za also reported, South Africa has no shortage of bright young minds and Lebogang Dludlu and Vuyo Mbalane prove it. The students developed a mobile app that allows other people to request that volunteers stand in queues for them at a price.
This allows young people to generate an income while helping the sick and elderly to stay off their feet until its their turn to be helped - and that's only one of the cool features of Lebogang and Vuyo's app.
Speaking to Briefly.co.za in an exciting and exclusive Q&A session, the dynamic duo opened up about their success, life, and who inspires them to push for greatness and always reach for the top.
