Tweezy is over the moon after his smash hit with Cassper Nyovest titled Amademoni was recently certified gold. The hip-hop producer and rapper has opened up about how he had to fight his demons last year in order to get his life back together.

Tweezy recently took to Twitter to let Mzansi know that the success of the single and the gold plaque means so much more to him. The award-winning producer wrote:

"Coming from where I was just a year ago, this plaque is a representation of how hard I fought my demons to get my life back together as well as how God remains faithful regardless of our mistakes and inconsistencies. I fought depression and won."

The star, who also sings the chorus on the song, also shared that Amademoni has been streamed over 1.3 million times.
