iFani has taken to social media to open up about going after AKA following his recent comeback in the entertainment industry. The rapper took a long break from the music industry for personal reasons but he is back on our TV screens and he is also recording new music.
The Amah Knows Best presenter took to Twitter to share that he is back to "disappoint" AKA.
iFani and Supa Mega have not been seeing eye to eye since AKA accused the Ewe hitmaker of buying his plaques. iFani tweeted on Tuesday, 6 October:
"When I left the game I disappointed people… My people. Now I’m back to disappoint the people I left in the game. Your people: No, I’m lying, ONE people: Super Mega."
When a tweep asked who iFani was, he boastfully said that he's the rapper who went gold before the Fela In Versace hitmaker.
"Yes. The host of #AmahKnowsBestSA on @SABC3. The Xhosa rapper in China. The one who went GOLD before AKA."
Another AKA stan warned iFani that Mega has become unstoppable now. The musician insisted that he's only trying to show AKA that he can't stop him from releasing music again.
"And I'm not trying to stop him. I'm trying to show him that HE CANT STOP ME!"
Briefly.co.za reported that iFani took to social media a few days ago to poke fun at his old rival AKA. The Shake hitmaker took to Twitter on Monday, 21 September to let the Fela In Versace rapper that he is "back from the dead". About a minute later, iFani suggested that he did not make it to AKA's house. He tweeted that he had to turn back because he forgot his mask.
In other AKA news, Briefly.co.za reported that AKA has announced that his upcoming project is ready for release. Supa Mega shared that Bhovamania has been mixed and mastered. He revealed that the only thing that's left now is just a release date.
The rapper has been using social media to let his fans in on the latest developments in relation to the EP. AKA is expected to drop the highly-anticipated project just in time for the festive season.
