Mohale Motaung is ready to put his acting skills to the test. The flamboyant actor feels it is time to push his boundaries and bag a role as a straight man.

Despite the shade that was thrown when Mohale’s new role in Rhythm City was announced, peeps can be assured that he got this role based on pure talent. Mohale, like every other actor, had to go through auditions in order to get the role, and he clearly did the thing.

According to an interview with JustNje, Mohale revealed that he waited a painstaking month and a half before he heard anything back from the directors. Bagging this role means a lot to Mohale as it gives him the chance to show Mzansi that he is so much more than just Somizi’s hubby.

Mohale now feels it is time for him to go after the role of a straight man so that Mzansi can see that he is a true actor whose skills reach much further than what most believe.

Rhythm City has given Mohale the confidence he needed to branch out, however, he feels that his time on Rhythm City is far from done. Mohale knows his character has a lot more to give and is sure his contract will be extended.
