A Johannesburg-based make-up artist is doing body paint cosplay for each day leading up to Halloween, 31 October. @slimgirlsupreme has been posting her amazing transformations on TikTok, Twitter and Instagram every day since the start of October.
Her first look on 1 October, was The Mask from the popular movie starring Jim Carrey. @slimgirlsupreme used body paint to create the iconic yellow suit worn by Carrey's character as well as the white shirt and patterned tie.
So far she's also done Nemesis from renowned game and movie series Resident Evil, Chucky and Tiffany from the Chucky horror movies, an illusion look she titled "My Anxiety" and her most recent was the Colossal Titan from famed anime and manga series, Attack on Titan.

In other news about local make-up artists, Briefly.co.za recently reported on a student and beauty YouTuber that was featured on Maybelline USA's website. A Durban-based Master's Degree student has been featured on the USA Maybelline website.
27-year-old Sheinna Mungroo is a Beauty YouTuber and Human Resources Consultant. Mungroo was approached by the brand after she used their products. In one of many videos on her YouTube channel, Beauty by Sheinna Mungroo, the young student used Maybelline products to do an easy yellow eyeshadow look.
This is what caught the eye of Maybelline New York as they commented on her post. Mungroo is currently featured on the Maybelline New York website under the "Beauty Influencer Shop This look" section. This section explores makeup looks, tutorials, and videos with an array of Maybelline products.
