A popular football page recently took to their timeline to pose a very interesting question at die-hard football fans - "Who is the greatest player to ever play for your national team?" The post quickly received thousands of reactions from fans of the sport all over the world.
Avid football fans from Mzansi also took the chance to share who their favourite player was. While a few names such as Doc Khumalo and Mark Fisher were thrown into the mix here and there, many locals said that Benni McCarthy was their favourite player of all time.

Briefly.co.za previously reported how it is an exciting time for South African teams with many of them unveiling their new jerseys and soccer kits. The most recent jersey revelation is that of South African national football team, Bafana Bafana.
The team's management took to their official Twitter page, @BafanaBafana to share pictures of their brand new jersey design which was modelled by local football stars. "Bafana Bafana stars in newly launched jersey," they captioned the post.
Twitter users reacted to the post nearly 1 000 times. Many Twitter users, however, did not seem very impressed by the green, yellow and white jerseys which were decorated with asymmetrical lines and the Bafana Bafana emblem. They quickly took to the comments section and shared their thoughts.
