Briefly.co.za previously reported that Kelly Khumalo, the voice of Africa, has responded to claims that she is trading in her pop career for a gospel one.
Kelly is reinforcing a message she posted last year already when she told fans that she has no intentions of making the move to gospel music.
The chart-topping Esphambanweni has the singer very grateful for the positive response to the song but denies that it is pure gospel. Kelly was quoted by TimesLive as saying that she is "just an artist who sings gospel".
