For iPhone enthusiasts, every new release comes with amazing and better features to improve the customer experience on the device.
For the rest, however, all they see is the same old thing with just a few tweaks here and there to ensure that they keep their customers in check and ready to spend.
This was the same reaction from netizens who saw no difference with the new iPhone 12 released on Tuesday, October 13, with many joking it was not worth their kidney.
Some even compared the new iPhone's design to that of the iPhone 5 which was released way back in 2012.
Here are some of the reactions:
The new iPhone does have a few pros which include the 5G network, it is also thinner, smaller, and much lighter which makes a big difference to iPhone lovers, and also better display.
It also comes with a ceramic shield technology that prevents the phone from cracking when dropped and as always, a better camera that many believe changes everything.
The phone also comes with a smaller box and for that reason, the new model does not include ear pods or a charger with Apple citing environmental reasons for the change.
Those accessories will now have to be bought separately but Apple will still provide the USB-C to lightning charging cable.
The iPhone 12 Mini will retail at KSh 75k, the iPhone 12 Regular at KSh 87k and the iPhone Pro will leave your pockets with a dent of KSh 108k and KSh 120k for the Pro Max.
Well to a hilarious story that gives you an idea of how confusing these different models can be, a man bought an iPhone 11, only to realise hours later that it was fake.
Instead of being sold an iPhone 11 Pro Max, he was sold an iPhone 6 with Vitamin C tablets plastered as triple cameras at the back.
