Twitter user Cam Modisane recently took to the app to share some pretty exciting news - he has just received and accepted a job offer. He is now an associate professor in the College of Accounting Science.
Along with the news, cam shared a picture of his appointing letter from the University of South Africa, where he will be taking up the position as a professor. The young doctor also shared that he will be helping aspiring accountancy students achieve their dreams.
"I have accepted the offer to be an Associate Professor in the College of Accounting Sciences. I’m moving from corporate to academia. I’ll be producing aspiring CA(SA) students, supervising Master’s & PhD candidates.
"I will be now known as Prof Modisane.#YoungBlackGifted," he also added, "More importantly, I will be contributing to the research output and adding new knowledge to the accounting profession. I am looking forward to this new journey in my life and career."
Twitter users quickly flocked to the comment section to congratulate Dr Cam on his success. Here are a few of their comments.

A year ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Cam Modisane took to social media to reveal that he obtained his PhD degree in accountancy. Modisane gushed about his doctorate degree and his affiliation with the EFF - which is famous for prioritising education.
"Allow me to re-introduce myself: I am Dr Cam Modisane and I hold a PhD in accountancy. I am also a disciplined member of Ward 112 King Nyabela EFF Branch," he wrote.
"We are a government in waiting and arming ourselves with education!"
Modisane also became famous for being part of Africa's first traditional gay wedding. His academic achievement inspired social media users, who congratulated the new doctor. Twitter user, @Rebaone59275709, commented:
"IN EFF we are educated! And uneducated always call us idiots. Congratulations brother let’s keep on equipping ourselves I’m planning on registering for law degree next year to add to my C medical practice degree."
