Gone are the days where Makhadzi and Master KG trended because of being snubbed at award shows. The pair are now scooping nominations left, right and center. The former couple were recently nominated by the 12th annual Feather Awards.

The ex lovers will be going head to head in the Musician Of The Year category.

The nominees were announced on Thursday and this year’s theme is "Turn Up the Love".

Makhadzi recently expressed her disappointment at not being nominated for a SAMA award this year. The Limpopo musician took to social media to congratulate nominees but also to express sadness at being snubbed.

She said that she had submitted her work but sadly she just didn't make the cut. The list of nominees was released for the first ever virtual South African Music Awards nomination, and sadly Makhadzi and her ex boo Master KG were not included.
