The project is the first one off his and Ruff Record's new record label 1020Cartel. The album consists of young talented artists Sjava signed to the label. The 10-track album has been streamed over one million times, something that is a massive achievement.
The official record label Twitter account thanked Mzansi for helping them reach the milestone: "Thank YOU Cartel family!" Twitter user general_njini said: "Expect a million more, I play this project weekly, I’m sure not I’m the only one."

Briefly.co.za had previously reported that Sjava and music producer Ruff have launched their own record label called 1020 Cartel. The label is expected to release its first project by Sjava next month. The award-winning musician took to social media to make the announcement.
In a short statement, the muso said: "Ruff and I are really excited about launching this label because at the core, we’re activating a movement which promotes excellence in arts, collaboration and creating value for everyone involved. I have so much on the four artists we currently working with.
They are so talented and have so much to offer.” In other Sjava news, the BET Award-winning African trap musician was hailed for his humility from the minute he first stepped on the scene and we got to see first-hand where this humility stems from.
