A local woman recently seized the opportunity to make the world a better place after she decided to be honest about receiving too much change back after making a purchase. After paying for diapers that cost R140 with an R200, the cashier handed her back R140, as opposed to the correct amount, which was an R60.

After realising that the cashier made a mistake that might cost him later, she quickly told the man that he had given her too much money. The delighted cashier thanked her for her honesty and apologised for his absentmindedness.

"So it's finally good to have ones #imstaying moment as I've been reading people's moments everyday.Yesterday I was at Ackermens getting nappies for my daughter which amounted to R140 but because i couldn't see the total on the till I asked the guy helping me how much do I owe him..
"I then gave him R200 but I think he still had the amount in mind that he told me earlier he continued to take R140 from the till as my charge so I stood there with a correct slip and R140 instead of R60 waiting for him to realize his mistake but he didn't he thanked me and called for next so I did what we do here and made him aware....he was so thankful and I felt so good about myself that's why #imstaying," she wrote

Briefly.co.za previously reported, a local dad recently showed the world what it means to be a trying father after he shared pictures of the bakkie he turned into a makeshift pool for his daughter and all her buddies. Using a large green plastic sheet, the innovative dad placed in the back of the bakkie and then filled it with water.

He then took the little one and a bunch of her friends to a fast-food joint, KFC, for some ice-cream cones, which the littles ones can be seen thoroughly enjoying while playing in their little put-together bakkie "pool."

Social media users and Facebookers were left in awe of the great dad's efforts to make his daughter happy. He also served as an example to people who do not have all the money in the world that with a little creativity and a lot of love - anything is possible.
