Khanyi Mbau has startled Mzansi once again after revealing that she's not quite done with her look yet. During an interview with YFM, she revealed that she would like to look like the blue Avatar.
Since Khanyi has achieved the "barbie doll" look, she's looking for something new and different. She achieved the look by sporting a much lighter complexion and smaller frame. By looking like a blue Avatar, she means the alien-like people from the movie Avatar by James Cameron.
Khanyi shared a snippet from the interview on social media but has since deleted it.
Mbau is not too concerned with what people think about her look. She said during an interview with Pearl Thusi on Behind the Story with Pearl that she's more concerned with herself than others.
"Your loyalty lies with yourself first. I’m glad they like me, but I like myself more,“ she said.
Khanyi clarified on Instagram that by lightening her skin, this does not mean she looks down on people with darker skin tones. She stated that her journey of skin lightening was a personal choice that made her look fresh and "glowy".
In other news, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Sho Madjozi is rocking a new hairstyle. Sho Madjozi took to her social media accounts to share a picture of her stunning new hairstyle. The artist posted two selfies showing off her new hairdo and asked her fans what they thought of the look. Madjozi was sporting long braids with a colourful assortment of beads and cowrie shells at the ends.
Fans loved how bright and bold the colours were and told Madjozi she looked great. The only issue her followers joked about having was that they were sure their kids would want to copy the hairstyle and nobody has such time.
