Pitso Mosimane has scored a major win for his new club Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League semi-final against Wydad Casablanca. Al Ahly won 2-0 in the semi-final match through an early goal and a second-half penalty.
This win has placed Al Ahly firmly in the running for a spot in the finals, which will take place on 6 November. This marks a second win for outspoken coach since he resigned as the head coach of the Mamelodi Sundowns.
Briefly.co.za reported on Sunday that the win marked the first home defeat for Wydad in 27 CAF matches and Ahly managed to get one back after losing to the club in the 2017 finals.
Our readers have since reacted to Mosimane's amazing performance at Al Ahly.
Elvis Mudau commented:
"The only thing that one can do is to congratulate him and wish him to do good, I wouldn't want to think the are people out there who are wishing him to fail maybe those are not patriotic enough, good luck sir keep on doing good, you pave this obstacle road for your fellow South African coaches, I wish they follow suit."
Tsotsa Wa Mokone Nakeng added:
"Oooh Pitso is enjoying while Patrice is busy confusing the nation here. Co-coach & senior coach drama. I find you guilty Pitso of making us a laughable kabo yellow."

"Not the desired result as we bow out of the MTN 8 Cup. Let’s get behind the boys ahead of the league season opener."
South Africans, including Natasha Thahane, roasted the Brazilians over their poor performance despite having three coaches.
One man in particular could not hide his emotions about the Sundowns' loss. The unidentified man explained in a video that he bet money on the Sundowns to win and now he has lost all his cash.
The video gathered over 9 700 views and South Africans were left laughing out loud over the footage.
