Masechaba Ndlovu has decided to stand up to ask the world to pray for Africa. The media personality has joined scores of celebs from across the world who have decided to speak up on the recent heartbreaking events that have been taking place on the African continent.
While most entertainers are focusing on Nigeria, the stunner took to Instagram to speak about what is currently happening in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The hashtag #CongoIsBleeding has also been trending high on social media platforms. Masechaba decided to let her followers know what exactly is happening in Congo.
"Here's what's happening in the DRC: Congo is currently going through a silent holocaust. Millions of people are being killed so the world can benefit from its natural resources."
She went on to share that the country has the world's largest reserve of Coltan. Masechaba explains what Coltan is:
"Coltan is a critical resource needed for electronic devices, aerospace and the innovation of technology. Babies are dying, women are being raped and buried alive, innocent people are losing their lives everyday. I chose not to post graphic images but I was compelled to say something."
The star asked her fans to Google the hashtag #CongoIsBleeding and to use their voice to tell the world what is going on right now in the DRC.
"The world is silent and it's not fair."
