Connie Ferguson is a household name to most South Africans who would recognise her from the screen. One thing that was recently revealed about the performer is that she does not share her on-screen characters' love for alcoholic beverages.
Connie was responding to a tweet asking about her preference between whiskey and champagne when she revealed to her almost a million followers that she does not drink at all.
The tweep was enquiring whether the preference was Connie's or that of her character, Harriet Khoza. Connie confirmed to her fan that it was indeed Harriet's since she stays away from both whiskey and champagne.
Connie did not offer an explanation as to why she's a teetotaller nor does she have to. Her response was sweet and to the point.
In other Connie-related news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on the star going makeup-less in a selfie and how Mzansi reacted.

The star captioned her selfie with:
"#whatsinaname #nofilter #nomakeup #justme. Wishing you a beautiful, chilled blessed Sunday!"
She left her fans awestruck with her beauty. Not only does she have perfect, clear and glowing skin, Connie also does not seem to have a single wrinkle.
