Dr Moore said his hospital delivers approximately 8 000 babies each year, adding that they only see a woman delivering another set of identical twins about once every 15 years.

Erin and her family all contracted the novel coronavirus in August but luckily for the family, their cases were not very severe.

The woman said:

"I'll always consider myself blessed with all these beautiful babies, but I also think God has a real funny sense of humour. A lot of people say you're only given what you can handle, and I hope He has my back for the next few years!"

In other news, a 54-year old Nigerian woman, Funmi Ajagbe, has given birth to a set of triplets with her first pregnancy, a thing that does not usually happen.

The new mother’s friend, Odunayo Olupona, took to Facebook to disclose that Funmi welcomed her babies despite the long wait until such an advanced age.

The stoke of luck that added another three members to the family has them feeling blessed beyond measure and the babies will hopefully grow up as not only siblings but the best and closest of friends.
