The Covid-19 pandemic has affected a lot of people across the world and Mzansi. Some people lost their jobs and income and some had to sell their favourite items in order to take care of their families amid the coronavirus lockdown. Not only ordinary citizens were financially affected but celebs as well.
Cassper Nyovest is one of the celebs who has admitted that the Covid-19 pandemic also affected him and his business. In a recent interview with Texx Talks, the star opened up about how he survived the lockdown. The Amademoni hitmaker revealed that he sold two whips amid the lockdown imposed by government to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
"I sold two cars just to minimize my expenditure so I had to let go of a business vehicle and a personal vehicle. I kept my favorite car still and I kept my home and I was able to help my family members get through it."
He shared that he was scared at first because he wasn't making any money during the stricter levels of the lockdown.
"Going from making hundreds of thousands per weekend to zero, it’s like ‘what the hell?’. I was used to a certain type of lifestyle and not worrying about money and the first 21 days were like alright, everybody had money somewhere, two months later everybody is broke and you really making no income."
He added that he was able to survive with other income streams and was glad that he did "not lose anything".
