Cassper Nyovest spent lockdown with his girlfriend and baby Thobeka. While most were cringing at the thought of being locked away with their significant others, Cassper was on cloud nine.
During an interview on Texx Talks, Cassper opened up about his lockdown with Thobeka. With Thobeka being pregnant, Cassper felt grateful that he was able to be there for her and enjoy the journey with her.
Cass explained that he and Thobeka were not officially living together at the time but that she was visiting when the virus hit and just stayed. It worked out well for them.
“I wasn’t living with my partner at the time lockdown happened. She was visiting and the lockdown happened and she stayed with me and that was the most convenient thing that could have happened to us because we got to experience the pregnancy together.”
Cassper loved that he got to watch his baby boy grow in Thobeka’s belly and that the time off gave him the opportunity to be a part of every moment.
“…experiencing also the pregnancy, seeing the belly grow everyday into an actual fully pregnant woman was like the craziest thing to experience … the heartburn, I was there every step. I was pregnant, I was eating more than her…the symptoms came to me, I think that’s what happens when you actually genuinely connected to the person.”
Thobeka and Cassper were also locked up with the rest of his family, his mom, two sisters and Innocent. Luckily they all got along and it was only good vibes in the house.
“There was no turmoil in the house. After a few days, people end up fighting, we created a dope little routine where we were playing board-games every evening, we shared the chores, some would cook, some would clean.”
Briefly.co.za previously reported that the Covid-19 pandemic has affected a lot of people across the world and Mzansi. Some people lost their jobs and income and some had to sell their favourite items in order to take care of their families amid the coronavirus lockdown. Not only ordinary citizens were financially affected but celebs as well.
Cassper Nyovest is one of the celebs who has admitted that the Covid-19 pandemic also affected him and his business. In a recent interview with Texx Talks, the star opened up about how he survived the lockdown. The Amademoni hitmaker revealed that he sold two whips amid the lockdown imposed by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
"I sold two cars just to minimize my expenditure so I had to let go of a business vehicle and a personal vehicle. I kept my favourite car still and I kept my home and I was able to help my family members get through it."
