Adele came under fire on social media after a Saturday Night Live skit about African men. The singer played a part of a divorcée in the sketch about the "Tourism Board of Africa".

In the skit, Adele spoke about her experience in Africa and couldn't contain her laughter. She stood alongside SNL cast members Kate McKinnon and Heidi Gardner. The three of them discussed why tourists should travel to Africa. Adele broke character and laughed when she spoke about the "lush, dangling foliage".

The award-winning musician shared that she's found a "deep" connection with the continent. She struggled to deliver some of her lines through her laughter. McKinnon and Gardner remained composed through the skit.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Skeem Saam actress Pebetsi Matlaila has mixed feelings about marriage. The star recently took to social media to share that she's been asking people about the pleasures of marriage. The star said their responses make her think twice about getting married.

Pebetsi, who plays the role of Mokgadi Maputla on the popular SABC 1 show, also revealed that her partner in real life has been asking her to marry him for a while. She's still undecided.
