SA celebs react to emotional interview of Senzo Meyiwa's mom

SA celebs have reacted to the emotional interview of late Senzo Meyiwa's mom, Ntombifuthi Meyiwa. The entertainers expressed their frustrations over the "distasteful" press conference that the Ministry of Police held on the sixth anniversary of the former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper's death.

Senzo was fatally shot in Vosloorus, Johannesburg on 26 October, 2014. He was slain in the presence of his bae Kelly Khumalo and members of her family. Police Minister Bheki Cele provided the progress report into the murder of the soccer star on Monday, 26 October.

Mzansi stars were reacting to Cele's presser and the clip from an interview an emotional Ntombifuthi held with Newzroom Afrika. The grieving mom called on the spirit of her son to reveal his shooter.

Veteran musician and one of the owners of the independent record label DJ Oskido shared the news on social media on Monday, 27 October. The star wrote on Instagram:

"We @kalawaJazmeeRecords are happy to partner with @idolsa to sign the winner of Idols SA Season 16."

The stable is owned by Oskido, Spikiri, Mahoota, Bruce Dope, Bra Don Laka and Mjokes. It is home to artists such as Professor, DJ Zinhle and Busiswa. The stable, founded in the 1990s, is also famous for producing musicians such as Boom Shaka, Bongo Maffin, Thebe and Trompies, among others.

The show has parted ways with Gallo Record Company after three years.
