American congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has been unveiled as the cover star of Vanity Fair's December issue. The Democrat featured not only on the cover of the renowned magazine but also in a series of other pictures within the publication.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, AOC spoke about her job and ambitions for her future. AOC revealed that she has been threatened since she became the youngest woman in congress. She explained that she had been doxed (her private information was shared online).
AOC's pictures were taken by well-known photographer, Tyler Mitchell. Mitchell shared the images he took of AOC to his Instagram account. Mitchell's pictures show AOC in various outfits from famous designers.

According to CNN, AOC wore Christian Louboutin heels as well as Loewe, Carolina Herrera and Christopher John Rogers suits for the photoshoot. The New York Post reported that AOC joked that her current success is "more than enough of an accomplishment".

Her streaming was not just fun and games though. Before boarding the space ship in her pink suit, AOC asked her viewers to vote in the upcoming elections.
Among Us is an online game which takes place in space with characters clad in different coloured space suits. The game was initially released two years ago but gained popularity in the past few months with users scattered all across the globe.
According to Forbes, 40 000 people joined the above link while another 200 000 joined separate broadcasts from other gamers. The Guardian reported that AOC's debut stream on Twitch was the third-highest individual stream by viewership in Twitch history.
