Somizi took to social media to show that the world is not such a bad place after all. He shared a story of how he helped a stranger that was stranded on the roadside.

Taking to social media, the Idols SA judge relayed the story of of how he saw a woman stuck in the middle of a busy road on William Nicol.

He said that cars were just passing her by so he made a U-turn and went to ask her if she had received any assistance.

According to Somizi, her battery had died. Because Somz was wearing a cap, mask and sunglasses, the woman did not recognise him.

"I was in my way to gym so I didn't mind waiting with her and skip gym...eventually her husband called to say he is 5 min away...so she said I can leave so I gave her my numbers just incase she needs help"

The woman only realised who he was after he had left and expressed her surprise in the subsequent text messages that she sent him.

"Moral of the story....making this world a better place one person at a time....its not that bad..."

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Somizi has taken to social media to share that someone sent him R9 000 by mistake.

The reality TV star asked tweeps to help him make the person who sent him the money aware that the cash did not go to the intended recipient.
