Stormzy beats out Nasty C for BET Hip Hop award but Mzansi stays proud

- The BET Hip Hop winners have been announced and local artist, Nasty C, lost to Stormzy

- The artists were nominated in the category of Best International Flow alongside artists from Brazil, France, Kenya and the UK

- Mzansi was bummed that Nasty didn't get to take a trophy home but made sure to tell him that he did his country proud

Nasty C was nominated for a BET Hip Hop award for Best International Flow this year. The results of the category were announced by the 2019 winner, Sarkodie.

Nasty's fellow nominees were Meryl, Djonga, Kaaris, Khaligraph Jones, Ms Banks and Stormzy, who ended up taking home the win.

Despite not winning the category, Nasty's fans wanted him to know that they were proud he was nominated and making international moves. His followers took to the comments to reassure him that he was still one of Mzansi's faves.

Khanyi took to Twitter to post the footage and also get her followers to go over to Instagram and follow her mini-me on Instagram. Khanyi is clearly a proud mom watching her baby grow up and figure out the next steps of fame and life.
