The EFFs Godrich Gardee has taken to Twitter to call ANC leaders out after an eyebrow-raising video of Mpumalanga businessman Moses Kgomo serviced online. In the clip, Kgomo can be seen waving around a thick stack of two hundred rands.
Kgomo is said to be the owner of one of several businesses that benefited from irregular tender bidding and awards. While Kgomo has denied any involvement in tender fraud, Gardee has questioned the ANC about a child that was electrocuted by illegal electrical wires and also the way it handles the country's hard-earned funds.
"Whilst the municipality refuse responsibility of an electrucated child at eMbalenhle and the whole township smelling sewer and no water.. How did we reach here @MYANC?"
Twitter users and concerned South Africans naturally headed to the comments section to air their thoughts. Many of them are clearly aggravated at the country's leaders and have demanded a change.
Read a few of their comments below.
"To fix the mismanaged South Africa, don't vote for @MYANC Or @EFFSouthAfrica."
"Time for a tax revolt. Our taxes fund this shit. #TaxRevolt #TaxpayersMatter #OurMoneyOurRules."
"Gucci lifestyle, no different to what is happening there."
Earlier this week, Briefly.co.za reported, money is a very valuable thing and in recent times it's becoming more and more scarce as many people tend to be struggling. One local man, who has now been identified as Moses Kgomo, does not fall into that category. A video of Kgomo flaunting wads of cash at a party has gone viral.
At the beginning of the video, Kgomo can be seen standing on a chair. Out of nowhere, he starts showing off a large amount of what appears to be R200 notes. The unknown man can then be seen showing off his large stack of cash in every direction.
He also makes sure to dance while doing so. The video was shared with Twitter recently by @kulanicool and has already gained over 11 000 views on the app. Saffa tweeps reacted with memes, GIFs, and other jokes.
