Weekly wrap: Giant snakes, more dancing and Maphorisa gets dragged

This week has been a bit different, but you know what they say, change is as good as a holiday. One of the top stories involves and an enormous snake being literally dragged by a group of men. Another young man shows off his flashy dance moves.

1. Video shows men dragging a large snake: "This is stressing me"

A rather peculiar video of a group of men pulling a large snake out of a bush has made its way onto social media. The 30-second clip was shared to Twitter by @BlackLwendo recently and South Africans are kind-of shook.

Many tweeps shared jokes while others were concerned about the men handling the large snake in the way they did. The short video has already gained over 11 000 views on the social networking site.

Although the snake was massive and powerful, it did not attempt to attack anyone who was handling it. It chose to slither back into the bush it came from without harming those around it.

2. Young man stuns Mzansi with amazing dance skills: "He can move"

South Africans sure know how to break down and bust a move regardless of where they're from. One local man showed off his skills at a party recently and received all the hype one can get from onlookers.

A video of the man dancing was uploaded to the #ImStaying group on Facebook by Mamsy Phago. Mamsy captioned the post with three different hashtags: "#ThatsWhyImStaying #ASouthAfricanFridayEvening #SomewhereInACountryCalledSoweto."

3. Haibo: DJ Maphorisa criticised by Mzansi for dating 'ama-2000'

DJ Maphorisa is under fire after it emerged that he was allegedly dating a 19-year-old. This comes after the teen influencer was exposed by her friend on social media. The conversation shifted to Maphorisa with many criticising him for entertaining younger women.

Influencer Cyan Bouke accused her former friend, Beverly (who is also a brand influencer) of dating the Mzansi muso. She posted a screenshot of a conversation with her where Beverly revealed that she is dating the Amapiano artist.

Although Maphorisa has neither confirmed nor refuted the claims, social media users have weighed in.

Zenande Mfenyana is currently trending on social media after she spoke badly about helpers online. The Queen actress took to Twitter on Wednesday, 28 October and told her fans that helpers are "exhausting".

Tweeps have slammed the star for the "tone" of her post. The new mom has deleted the tweet but the screenshot of her post is currently doing the rounds on the micro-blogging app. Zenande had tweeted:

"Helpers are exhausting. Yerrr!!!"

5. Vin Diesel jams to Brenda Fassie's song in his 1st TikTok video

Vin Diesel has posted his first TikTok video. What makes the video super special is that the US action movie star is jamming to South Africa's Brenda Fassie's song Vulindlela. The superstar is vibing with a Nigerian sister @itsjustnifee in the epic video.

The Fast & Furious film series actor told his followers on Instagram that he was introduced to Brenda Fassie's classic two years ago when he was in Mzansi to film his movie titled Bloodshot.
